Staying with Teachers

In a format different from traditional homestay, students will live with their assigned teacher during the camp, ensuring close supervision and care.

Through group living, children will learn how to communicate with others, and under the teacher’s guidance, they will develop regular habits and proper behavior patterns.

Safe Stay

The camp will take place in a safe and comfortable accommodation that has gone through a selective process. This location was carefully chosen after a thorough review of its proximity and security through a pre-visit.

To ensure students' safe commute, transportation services will be provided. Throughout the camp, a dedicated teacher will be with the students 24/7 to ensure their safety and well-being.

Stories Behind the Camp

Real Canadian Camp Experiences Shared by Parents and Students

Before arriving in Canada, I was really worried, thinking, 'Will I be able to adapt and manage in a foreign country where I can't even speak the language?' I was quite nervous. But after the long flight, we were warmly welcomed by Teacher Brian and Teacher Edward, which made my first impression of Canada really positive. The accommodation we arrived at was big and clean—it even had a ping-pong table, a karaoke machine, and a large yard. It felt like a house I’d only seen on TV in Korea, so not just me, but everyone was excited.

Teacher Robin stayed with us at the accommodation and cooked for us. The food was so delicious that no one left anything on their plates.

On the first day of school at RCA, waking up early and getting ready was tiring, but studying with foreign friends felt both exciting and a bit nerve-wracking. Since the classes were in English, I couldn’t understand everything, but with help from local friends, I was able to follow along. After school ended at 3 PM, we went to JM Academy where we played board games with the teachers and practiced ordering things ourselves at Starbucks, the grocery store, or the library. I made a lot of mistakes at first, but thanks to the support of Teacher Jessie and Teacher Judy, I was able to step up and try.

On weekends, we had a great time visiting places like UBC, ski resorts, swimming pools, ice rinks, and hot springs. Among them, the UBC campus tour will probably stay in my memory for a long time.

Teacher Hana was with us from Korea all the way through to the end. She stayed with us at the accommodation and constantly made sure we were doing well and not feeling stressed or uncomfortable. Even though I was away from my parents, I never felt anxious thanks to her, and I was able to adjust well to life in Canada. I'm truly grateful to her.

This camp was such a valuable experience in my life. If I get the chance again, I would love to go back!
